About The River Club
This logoicalgolf academy is located at The River Club Golf and Conference Centre in Cape Town.
Conveniently situated on the banks of the Liesbeek River, The River Club’s historic building and grounds house a wide range of conference and recreational facilities.
Founded in 1939 as a sports club, it was home to many sporting events over the years. It has progressed and is now Cape Town’s best known Golf and Conference venue.
Location is ideal, with The River Club being equidistant from the city centre and Cape Town International Airport.
This, as well as ample parking and 24-hour security, makes The River Club an excellent choice for conferencing, eventing and golf.
Covered Driving Bays
The academy is located on the lower section of 28 undercover bays, which enable golfers to play in all weather conditions.
Grass bays are available on a daily basis as are our state of the art mats, with very realistic artificial grass surfaces.
Two putting greens, a chipping area and bunkers enable golfers to practice all aspects of their game.
The driving range boasts facilities that surpass most of its kind in South Africa which has earned it the title of the Western Cape's leading golf driving range including a par 3 nine hole course.
Under construction is a second 'state-of-the-art' 9 hole par 3 course. Designed to be more challenging than the existing course, the new lay out will include more than a few tests.
Also soon to be unveiled is the new chipping and putting area. Now far bigger, it offers a real chance to improve your touch.
